This new DNA filter is designed to replace the left side cover of the stock Yamaha air box and increase the air flow significantly. It can be used in a number of different combinations and the result in air flow can vary from Stage 2 to stage 3 with the graph above showing the flow rates that can be achieved with all combinations.
Installation of the filter is very easy, simply remove the left side air box cover, apply the DNA sealing grease to the gasket, install the new filter and laser cut frame and secure using the standard bolts.

• The filtering efficiency is extremely high at 98-99% filtering efficiency, with 4 layers of DNA Cotton. (Filtering efficiency is the amount of "dirt" the filter can maintain (stop) and protect the engine efficiently.For example the DNA Filter for every 100 grams of dirt that it will receive, it will hold 98-99 grams, this applies even to fine dirt as small as 5 microns.)
• This DNA filter is designed as a High flow filter for Road & Off-road use.
• Attention! It is very important for the final user to read carefully and understand the instructions included with this New Stage 3 DNA filter.
• This Cover and Filter should only be used with:
  • Power Commander or similar fuel injection controller
  • Preferably with Air Filter R-Y6E08-01 & Stage 2 Air Box Cover TC-Y6E08-S2.
