TPZ Italia Italia seat covers use 100% waterproof materials, with seams thermo-taped internally for up to 80% water protection. However, prolonged rain exposure or pressure washing may allow some water ingress. This is a normal result of handcrafted seams and does not indicate a defect.

More complex graphic designs and embroidered logos can also lead to slight water penetration or fading over time with sun or chemical exposure.

To maintain your seat cover:

• Avoid long-term exposure to direct sunlight
• Use a cover when washing your bike
• Clean with water and neutral soap only
• Dry immediately after washing

Ultragrip material is highly functional but slightly more delicate. To prevent premature wear, avoid excessive UV and heat exposure, and clean gently.

Fitting Instructions

• Screwdriver

• Manual, electric, or pneumatic staple gun
• Protective gloves and safety glasses
• (Optional) Protective film between foam and cover

Safety Notes

• Always test the staple gun on wood before use
• Over-pressurising can tear the seat cover
• Remove staples carefully using gloves and pliers

Installation Steps

• Remove old cover and staples
• (Optional) Apply a protective film over the foam
• Slide the new cover onto the seat, aligning front to rear and side to side
• Staple the rear section with 3–4 staples
• Staple the front with 3–4 staples
• Staple each side with 3–4 staples while keeping the cover centred
• If needed, remove and reposition to eliminate folds or misalignment
