Assembly Instructions and Warnings

· Install the exhaust system using the supplied mounting components and following the manufacturer's installation instructions.
· Ensure all exhaust connections, mounting points and fasteners are correctly positioned and tightened to the manufacturer's specifications.
· Check the clearance between the exhaust system, surrounding bodywork and other motorcycle components before riding.
· Recheck all mounting hardware following the initial heat cycles.
· Activate the QD Service Card to access the manufacturer's 30-month warranty programme.
· Important: Photographs of motorcycles are for portrayal purposes only. The motorcycle is not included.

Optional De-Cat Pipe

For riders seeking a more performance-focused exhaust configuration, QD offers an optional de-cat pipe specifically designed for the Ducati Hypermotard V2. Manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel, this component replaces the applicable catalytic converter section and is supplied with a dedicated carbon fibre heat shield.

The optional de-cat kit includes an ERROR ELIMINATION device, which allows the engine error and associated warning light generated by the de-cat installation to be reset.

MANDATORY INSTALLATION REQUIREMENT: Once the de-cat connector has been fitted, installation of the supplied ERROR ELIMINATOR device is mandatory. The device must be connected to the motorcycle's diagnostic socket beneath the passenger seat housing, following QD's installation procedure.

Important: The optional de-cat pipe is not included with the standard slip-on exhaust unless specifically selected. Removing the catalytic converter affects emissions compliance and may invalidate road-use approval. The Euro 5+ homologation applies to the approved silencer configuration and does not extend to the de-cat installation.
