The lower and side sections are shaped to follow the front of the motorcycle, directing airflow cleanly around the rider and providing increased lateral protection. A pronounced upper flip helps deflect airflow higher over the rider, reducing pressure and turbulence around the forearms, torso and helmet.

Puig's aerodynamic study demonstrates an impressive 88% increase in wind protection compared with the original screen, without negatively affecting the motorcycle's aerodynamic coefficient.

Manufactured from premium 4 mm CN acrylic, the screen combines excellent optical clarity with durability and UV resistance. At 440 mm high, it is approximately 70 mm taller than the original BMW screen, providing substantially increased coverage for touring and everyday riding.
