TPZ Italia seat covers are manufactured using 100% waterproof materials and internally thermo-taped seams. While this provides up to 80% water resistance, minor water ingress may occur during prolonged rain or pressure washing—this is a normal characteristic of handcrafted products.
Seat covers with stitching or embroidery may show slight water entry or colour fading over time if exposed to strong sunlight or aggressive cleaning products.
To extend product lifespan:
· Avoid prolonged exposure to direct UV light
· Use a seat cover when washing or storing the motorcycle
· Clean using water and neutral soap only
· Ensure the seat is fully dry before use or storage
Velvet-style materials require additional care—avoid moisture retention and allow to dry completely.
Installation Warnings:
· Use protective gloves and safety glasses during fitting
· Take care when using a staple gun to avoid damaging the material
