Product Overview

Experience greater control over your Ducati's exhaust sound with the QD X-DB Exhaust Sound Controller, an electronic exhaust valve modulation system designed for selected Ducati Hypermotard, Panigale, Streetfighter, Multistrada, Superbike and Monster motorcycles.

The X-DB system interfaces with the motorcycle's original electrical wiring and operates through the existing exhaust valve, servomotor and cables. This allows riders to control the factory exhaust valve mechanism using a dedicated electronic management interface and handlebar-mounted switch panel.

With five adjustable valve positions, the controller allows progressive adjustment between fully closed and fully open settings. Three intermediate positions provide additional flexibility, enabling riders to vary exhaust sound characteristics and valve behaviour to suit their preferences.

The two-button handlebar controller makes operation straightforward. A single press of the green button opens the valve by one step, while the red button closes it by one step. Holding either button for two seconds selects the corresponding fully open or fully closed position.

QD offers 24 motorcycle-specific Ducati applications, with dedicated wiring and electronic configurations. Selected versions incorporate a built-in ESE (Exhaust Servo Eliminator), while Panigale V4, Panigale V2, Streetfighter V4 and Streetfighter V2 applications are supplied without ESE.

Assembly Instructions and Warnings

· Select the correct Ducati model before ordering.
· Follow the installation instructions provided by QD Exhaust for the selected motorcycle application.
· Connect the electronic management interface to the original exhaust valve wiring using the supplied motorcycle-specific harness.
· Retain the original exhaust valve, servomotor and operating cables.
· Secure the handlebar switch without restricting steering movement or access to existing motorcycle controls.
· Ensure electrical wiring is secured away from hot exhaust components and moving parts.
· Important - Road Use: This product is NOT APPROVED for road use. Fitting it invalidates the vehicle's approval. Its use is entirely the user's responsibility
