TPZ Italia Italia covers use 100% waterproof materials, and seams are thermo-taped inside to deliver up to 80% water resistance. In cases of heavy rain or pressure washing, minor infiltration may occur—this is not a product fault but a natural result of the handcrafted process and detailed seamwork.
Covers with intricate stitching or embroidered logos may show slight water entry or colour fading with exposure to sun, rain, or aggressive cleaning products.
To prolong the life of your seat cover:
- Avoid long exposure to direct sunlight
- Use a cover during washing
- Clean using water and neutral soap only
- Dry immediately after cleaning
Velvet-effect PVC may be slightly more delicate—avoid prolonged sun exposure and always dry thoroughly after cleaning.

- Narrow-nose pliers
- Staple gun (manual, electric, or pneumatic)
- Protective gloves and safety glasses
- Optional: protective film
Safety Notes:
- Always test staple gun pressure before use
- Do not over-pressurise to avoid damaging the cover
- Remove old staples carefully using gloves and pliers
Installation Steps:
- Remove old staples and cover
- (Optional) Apply protective film between seat foam and new cover
- Align the front of the new cover and pull it over the seat
- Staple the rear using 3–4 staples
- Staple the front using 3–4 staples
- Staple each side with 3–4 staples, keeping the alignment centred
- If needed, adjust tension and re-staple any sections with folds or misalignment
