About this collection

Puig Downforce Race Side Spoilers are developed for riders who want a more radical racing aesthetic and aerodynamic performance.

Drawing directly from Puig’s experience in MotoGP, these spoilers are engineered to increase front-end stability at high speed while improving precision through corners.

Designed with supersport and superbike-style motorcycles in mind, they deliver track-inspired performance benefits while remaining suitable for road use.

Aerodynamics & Performance

The closed-profile winglet design increases air pressure on the front end, helping reduce front wheel lift at speed and improving stability during rapid direction changes. This additional load contributes to an anti-shimmy effect and improves poise under hard braking.

During strong acceleration, airflow is channelled to generate a controlled anti-wheelie effect, improving front tyre contact and rider confidence. Virtual aerodynamic testing and MotoGP development data have been used to refine these effects for each application.

Design & Manufacturing

The system is made up of two components. The mounting supports are injected in flexible plastic and attach securely to the fairing using high-strength 3M Dual Lock adhesive, allowing firm fixation without drilling or permanent modification.

The spoiler bodies are manufactured from 4 mm high-impact acrylic, offering excellent rigidity with low weight. Rounded edges with a radius greater than 2 mm ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Installation is quick and reversible, with detailed instructions supplied in print and available digitally.
