Overview

Puig Aileron mirrors combine aerodynamic innovation with functional design, integrating a rearview mirror and downforce spoiler into a single compact component. Created for sport and superbike models, they deliver a striking racing aesthetic while improving stability and control at speed.

This advanced design allows riders to enhance both performance and styling without adding separate aerodynamic components.

Aerodynamic Performance

Developed using virtual wind tunnel technology and inspired by MotoGP and World Championship racing, the Aileron mirror generates increased front-end downforce — up to 3 kg at 250 km/h — improving high-speed stability, cornering precision and directional control. This added pressure helps reduce front-end lift, minimise shimmy and support stability during strong acceleration.

Design & Construction

Machined from a solid block of aluminium and finished in elegant black anodising, the spoiler-mirror assembly offers excellent strength, durability and a premium finish. The mirror is discreetly integrated into the lower section of the spoiler to minimise aerodynamic resistance while maintaining clear rear visibility.

Adjustability & Optional Indicators

The mirror can be adjusted by hand for quick positioning to suit rider preference. Puig also offers the option to install TAB turn signals at the base of the spoiler for added visibility and safety.

Please note: TAB indicators are sold separately. On motorcycles where indicators are integrated into the original mirrors, this function may be lost when fitting the Aileron mirrors.
