Puig Downforce Side Spoilers

About this collection

using data and testing carried out alongside the Kawasaki Racing Team in WorldSBK, these spoilers are designed to improve high-speed stability, cornering confidence, and overall control.

By generating controlled downforce at the front of the motorcycle, the spoilers help keep the front wheel planted during hard acceleration and fast direction changes, delivering tangible performance benefits alongside an aggressive racing appearance.

Aerodynamics & Performance

The side winglets work by channelling airflow efficiently through their profile, increasing front-end grip and reducing instability at speed. This aerodynamic assistance helps minimise the risk of shimmy caused by front wheel traction loss and improves responsiveness during rapid changes of direction.

Under strong acceleration, the design can generate up to 6 kg of downward force on the front axle, contributing to an anti-wheelie effect. Each model is tested in a virtual wind tunnel, with specific performance data available depending on the motorcycle.

Design & Manufacturing

Designed and manufactured in Barcelona, Puig Downforce Side Spoilers follow the latest aerodynamic principles developed in MotoGP and WorldSBK. Rounded edges with a radius greater than 2 mm ensure compliance with safety standards.

Installation is straightforward and does not require drilling the fairing. Each kit includes all necessary hardware and detailed fitting instructions.
