Product Information

This DNA Performance Air Filter features DNA’s Round Design. It is easy to install, simply follow the installation instructions included in the workshop manual. The filtering efficiency is exceptionally high at 98-99% (ISO 5011), using 4 layers of DNA Cotton. This new DNA filter provides 4.82% more airflow than the stock filter.

This DNA filter is designed as a high flow air filter for road use. Its filtering efficiency means it can hold 98-99 grams of dirt for every 100 grams it receives, even fine dirt as small as 5 microns. An optional DNA Stage 2 Air Box Cover is also available.

Design & Manufacture

The filter media comprises 4 layers of high-quality surgical cotton gauze, sandwiched between two layers of epoxy-coated marine-grade aluminium wire mesh. It is pleated by state-of-the-art electronically controlled machines, ensuring superior quality. The result is a filtration media with very high flow rates, low restriction, superior dust holding capability, and smooth airflow.

Special Oil

The cotton is impregnated with a special oil developed by the DNA R&D department and produced by a leading oil company. This oil creates a static charge that attracts dust particles, even the finest ones, to the cotton media.

Maintenance
